Are you ready for some football!? With football season comes tailgating, and what better way to tailgate then with an RV? This blog will explore what makes an RV the ultimate tailgate vehicle!

The Best RVs for Tailgating

Football season is here! The stadium will soon be rocking with passionate fans, but before the crowds make their way through the gates, the parking lots are already buzzing with excitement as fans fire up the grills, crank up the music, and start the tailgate.

Tailgating is a great time no matter what you're driving. I've even tailgated out of the trunk of a Chrysler 300 and had a blast! But imagine rolling into the parking lot in an RV and instantly becoming the ultimate tailgate destination. RVs are practically made for football tailgating! You have everything you need right at your parking spot, from a comfortable place to hang out and escape the weather to a kitchen, plenty of storage, and even your own bathroom.

Prime RV Features for Tailgating

RVs come loaded with features that make them perfect for tailgating. Crank up the tunes with exterior speakers, stay cool and comfortable under the awning, and whip up your favorite tailgate snacks in the outdoor kitchen. And perhaps the best feature of all? An exterior TV, giving you the perfect spot to catch the pregame show or keep an eye on those early games while you enjoy the festivities. These are some of the great features to look for when buying an RV for tailgating!

2026 nuCamp Tag: This small camper is an excellent choice for tailgating, and one of its biggest advantages is the large rear exterior kitchen. It features a two-burner cooktop that’s perfect for making breakfast before those early-morning games, along with easy access to ice-cold beverages and a convenient sink. Just be sure to fill your fresh water tank beforehand! Its compact size is another major advantage, making it easy to tow, maneuver, and position wherever the tailgate takes you. You can even unhitch it from your vehicle and move it into the perfect spot, giving you plenty of flexibility when setting up for game day.

2025 Coachmen Leprechaun 260MB: This class c motorhome qualifies as one of my tailgate worthy RV's for a few reasons. The number one reason is it's enormous outdoor kitchen which is fully equipped with mini fridge, microwave, griddle, sink, and a foldable table which makes prepping your tailgate snacks a breeze! To complement the great exterior kitchen, you have a 32" exterior tv with a JBL sound bar to watch the early games on!

2026 Winnebago Revel 44N: This class b is short an easy to maneuver coming in at just 19.5 feet in length. That means this easily fits in standard parking spots! I didn't just pick this van because of the size and making it easy to get to the tailgate. I picked this because of the super convenient fold down table. This is excellent for snacks, dips, and sweets to fuel your guests at your tailgate! As your munching on your snacks, you'll need some refreshments. With the mini fridge just inside of the coach you can easily grab your next beverage without having to go inside!
